Ingredients
- 2 Cup Soya Chunks, Soaked and drained
- 1 Tablespoon green chili , chopped
- 2 Tablespoon chopped onion
- 2 Teaspoon garlic chopped
- 2 Tablespoon fresh coriander chopped
- 4 Tablespoon cornflour
- 1 Teaspoon garam masala
- 2 Tablespoon chat masala
- 2 Teaspoon chili powder
- 1 Cup Sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
Method
Step 1
Minced soya pieces from a chopper or in a food processor.
Step 2
Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a non-stick pan. Add minced soya, green chili, garlic, onion, coriander, red chili powder, chat masala, garam masala, salt. Cook for 2 minutes . Leave to cool. Add 2 tablespoon corn flour. mix it well
Step 3
Divide the mixture in equal balls and shape them into round tikki. Refrigerate for an hour or so. Meanwhile in a steel bowl make a thin batter of remaining two tablespoon corn flour with water.
Step 4
Heat Oil in a pan. Now dip each tikki in corn flour batter then dust it with sesam seed and fry over medium heat.
Step 5
Serve with mint chutney or tomato ketchup.
